Questions

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?

No. Just your gender, birth date, health status, tobacco use, desired coverage amount, and term length are enough to get rate quotes. We only collect your name and personal details if you decide to apply.

Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?

These are the monthly premiums the insurance companies are quoting for your chosen health category. Your final premium is determined by underwriting and may be confirmed, improved, or adjusted. Nothing here is a binding offer or price guarantee.

What happens when I click Apply?

You'll enter your name and proceed into the application, which is pre-filled with your responses and runs on the carrier's secure platform. You can stop and return later. Your signature is electronic. Susman Insurance Agency, licensed in California (License 0B75129), administers the applications.

Will I need a medical exam?

That depends on the carrier, the coverage amount, and your information. Each quote indicates whether a medical exam is required, possibly needed, or not needed. Many carriers now offer accelerated approval with no exam for eligible applicants.

Is a longer term better?

Your term should cover the years when losing your income would hurt your family the most: mortgage payments, school expenses, or business obligations. Longer terms cost more monthly but lock in your rate for more years. Compare 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30-year options side by side with our tool.

Does this site sell my information?

That's correct. Our quote tool doesn't collect your name or contact information. We don't buy or sell visitor data. We track page views using cookie-free analytics that respect do-not-track settings. See our privacy policy for a complete accounting of what's collected and by whom.
